does anyone know the distribution statistics of SAT scores among those who were excepted? ie what percentage scored below 1000, 1000-1200, 1200-1300, 1500 + etc?

No one has been "excepted" yet. So, no one can answer your question

i'm talking about in general, over the past years

hah oooops, finals week, what can i say

i believe the median is 1500 - 750 750. but SAT scores can be overshadowed - or underdone - by lots of other elements in an application.

i got the medium, i'm thinking more in terms of a bell curve type distribution statistic. anyone know of it? i don't know if they publish such a thing, but i kind of recall seeing something like it...maybe just a false memory induced by little sleep

According to U.S. News, 1380-1580 is the 25th-75th percentile from 2003.

I recall there being something in one of those alumni newsletters. Like, 2% of applicants with Verbal scores between 500-600 get in, or something like that. I'll search around...

Yahoo distributes it like that in their education site but, I don't think yale publishes thoses statisctics
