SATs or ACT ????

okay...
so as an Asian kid, i've been fed up with SATs ever since I was a freshman. ( ima junior now)U know those typical asian preps for SATs and whatnot... yea i've been goin there for a good amount of time. Anyways... when i take prac. sats i can never break 2000 for some reason... and my friends who are seniors tell me to take ACT cuz its somewhat easier than SATs. Well, i've witnessed couple of my friends who had been getting 1800s on the SAT gettin high 20's and 30's... and just amazes me.
so... my question is... SATs or ACT... which do you think will work out for me...? btw i'm pretty weak at Reading/Writing section... so...

nope, if ur not a fast reader then no chance..stick with memorization of vocab

Success on the ACT requires speed AND accuracy. If you can't read and answer questions accurately and very quickly, you have very little chance of doing well. There is a LOT more time pressure on the ACT than there is on the SAT.

There may be a slight advantage to the ACT - some colleges will take the ACT instead of the SAT and SAT subject tests. Check your colleges to be certain, though.

ACT if you can read quickly and comprehend. If not, stick to SAT. I suggest you take the ACT once without sending it to any colleges just to see what you get. ACT is beter because you can hide your scores if you don't want them to ever see it.

just take both and decide

Good advice on other posts.
Yep, try both - by purchasing accurate prep material like the Real ACT and SAT Blue Book - and see which test you feel more comfortable with.

The ability of blanking a question and not getting pentalized is amazing, living in Kentucky where the ACT is king, sucks, we have to take the ridiculous science section which is the stupidest part of the whole test due to the fact that is seems to be written in Latin doesn't help much either, I made a 21 in 7th grade, and a 22 in 10th grade, a staggering 1 point improvement over three years, and on the SAT I made a 1730 on my first attempt, a 530 in math, 540 in critical reading, and 600 in writing, of course I'm pretty good at writing, but if you're better at math, you should stick with the ACT.

I think the ACT math is much easier than SAT math actually....I suck at math.

ACT math is much easier than SAT math.. Only because it's actual MATH, not questions that try to trick you.
