Say I get a 2300+ on teh SATs and I have some ECs, but my GPA blows

<p>Im talking about a 3.7 weighted</p>

<p>but I have some good ECs</p>

<p>(tutoring children in the villages of India, seriously not a lot by volume (10-12) but they are out-standing compared to a lot of people)</p>

<p>I want to look to get at a 2300+ on the SATs as well</p>

<p>gonna study hard</p>

<p>I have always taken honors/AP classes except for my English class this year…</p>

<p>and I am lookin to get a 5 on the Physics AP.</p>

<p>I understand that I am not a strong GPA wise candidate, but I think I score big everywhere else</p>

<p>SATs won't get you in anywhere if they're good, but they will keep you out of places if they're bad. Still try to do well, obviously, but it's unlikely that your SAT scores will push you over the top if your GPA is lacking.</p>
