I just now submitted my Harvard application (9:46 EST), and it says submitted January 2nd whenever I click on Harvard University from my Dashboard. I wanted to get some last minute proofreads in, so I didn't submit four schools until now, and I'm going through right now submitting all four... Is it a huge problem? It let me pay for the application, and there's a green check, but it says "January 2nd, 2014 ET [sic]"

Update: It says the exact time stamp if I click on the Preview and Submission section, with the correct (1/1) date. It’s just the dashboard that’s giving me problems…

Same same.

It’s because they display the DATE in like England time. But, they display the TIME in Eastern Standard.

BUT… you can still submit your application by “11:59 your local time” and still have it be on time.

If you are able to submit your application, you’re on time no matter what, and you shouldn’t worry what the time stamp says.

All common app Jan 1 deadlines were extended to Jan. 2. https://twitter.com/commonapp
