SCA applicant wanting to submit another supplement

Hey fellas!

I am a SCA applicant and a lot has changed in my application from Dec 1 to now. My whole common app has changed completely for other schools I have applied to (I was in a bit of a rush to reach the Dec 1 USC deadline).

The video I submitted as a supplement was technically sound and everything (it was a video made for a hired client), but silly me didn't really realize what they were looking for. It displayed my ability to make a professional video, but well.. it was a cooking video. Not much room for "creative capabilities". I made another video for other colleges which reflects creativity a whole lot better (it's a short film, not a silly cooking video), does anyone know if there's annnnyyyy way it would be appropriate to update USC with this film to look at???

Any help is appreciated, thanks!

The official line is that anything not submitted with the application can’t be reviewed. Contacting someone in admissions or SCA would be the only way to find out anything different.

As a policy, we understand they cannot accept additional material after the deadline from the student (school reports can be a bit tardy we hear–but only a bit). If they opened it up for one, they’d have to be willing to receive new submissions from thousands of applicants to be fair.
