I had a question regarding my application and the whole viewing process! So I applied to SCA (film school), and worked for weeks on my portfolio which i thought was incredibly strong. My essays said A TON about me and my ability to write. I was wondering if anyone knew if the general admissions (dornslife) also views my supplement to SCA, because though my common app was good and so on, i feel like my sca supplement and writing makes up for a 3.7 and 31 act score. Does the general school read my sca supplement or is it only the film school admission that reads it? Any insight would be awesome :)

I took a tour at the SCA a few weeks ago (I’m applying as well for Film and TV Production) and from what I recall, I think the SCA supplement is just reviewed by the admissions board at the SCA. I could totally be wrong though.

What major did you apply for?

Those are both around the averages for admits. Meaning, you have nothing to make up for.

I applied for film and tv production as well @seabasstian! Though I put critical studies as my second choice and did the required materials for that also.
