If there is writing on the margins of a scantron, like on an AP answer sheet or SAT one, will it read in the machine? If it doesn’t, will College Board find a way to make it read (like erase the writing or something) so scores won’t be canceled? Thanks.
Depends on how much writing and how close to the bubbles. Speaking from personal experience, in every test I’ve ever taken on a Scantron (including APs and SATs), I make marks along the numbers indicating problems I want to go back to, and which problems have already been checked, and I’ve never had an issue.
