What are my chances at

Cornell ED
University of Michigan RA
Emory-Oxford college EA
Notre Dame EA

Thanks SOOO much!

Cornell ED--Match to Slight Reach (closer to match)
University of Michigan RA--Match
Emory-Oxford college EA--Match to Slight Reach (closer to match)
Notre Dame EA--Match

Don't forget a safety school, although as you can tell by my chances' ratings, I expect you to get into at least one (and possibly all four) of these schools.

Match to slight reach at Oxford? The OP is above the averages.

what are the percentages of acceptance when you say

reach
match
safety?

BTW, thank you so much calcruzer and jPoD for your replies!!!

Calcruzer, this is early only and there were no safety school I could find that offered EA.

bummpppppp please help!

bummpppp again!

again... bummppp...

bummmppppp

i think you have pretty impressive stats; solid to good chances at cornell and notre dame, don't know much about the other two colleges.

you can probably afford to apply to some good colleges with need for financial aid and still get in. i'm assuming that you are not asking for financial aid because it hurts your chances? cuz not that many people can really afford full tuition...:)

yea..
my parents are really really supportive and they told me to apply to my dream college and don't worry about the money.
They say that if I'm happy, they'll be too.

neway..
thanks!

bump again

wowser..im not planning to get any financial aid either.. i didnt know

""i'm assuming that you are not asking for financial aid because it hurts your chances? cuz not that many people can really afford full""

is it true??

Notre dame- match

yippie

asking for fianancial aid might hurt ME because I'm an international student. See US citizens and permanent residents receive FA from the govt., but international students receive FA from the college itself. Since most of colleges except HYP have limited amount of money to give to intl. student, asking for FA in my case might hurt my chances.

then give HYP a shot...u never know :D i think you have a chance if you essays stand out.

wowser. ..uh..in fact im an internation student as well. (canadiannee) :) neways thanks for ur infooo

lol thanks, but then again, intl students have lower chance of admittance innately. thanks for the encouragement though!

bummmmppppp

bummmmmppppp

Why aren't you applying to Tufts? It's a great school for International Relations and foreign languages. Your ECs are good and demonstrate global citizenship, which Tufts is big on.
