Honors: 9th Grade: English 1, Biology, Geometry 10th Grade: American Literature, Chemistry, Algebra 2 11th Grade: French III 12th Grade: (?) <p>I never heard of anyone with illnesses that made their application a disadvantage O__o If anything, an illness could possibly be shown as a personal struggle and a good essay topic.</p>
<p>Your grades and course choice are good, but seems like your extracurriculars are rather limited and weak, though, so maybe you might get lost among all the other 4.0 gpa and 34+ ACT applicants if you don’t bring out something unique.</p>
<p>Just a heads up: Penn doesn’t have SCEA… They have ED…</p>
<p>Your stats are on par… Now it’s just a matter of how good your essays are. Spend a lot of time on them!! Let them know what’s unique about you! That’s what will make you stand out in the pool of applicants…</p>
<p>Btw, never heard of diabetes hurting someone in the college app process. o.O</p>
