SCEA: If deferred, will you reapply?

Title says it all: will you reapply if you're deferred? I'm not sure yet; it sounds so boastful, but I'm pretty good at drawing and have taken art classes, so I could always reapply with that extra supplement...

But how about for everyone else? The admissions rate is even lower for RD, and I know that it's because more people apply, but still: if they don't want you in December, why would they in April?

If you are truly deferred, there is no need to "reapply." You may or may not have some materials to update your file that you could send in.

You don't reapply -- they'll just revisit your file in comparison with the RD pool.

As for whether or not they'll want you in April -- there are numerous EA deferrals who are eventually offered admissions.

Remember, if you are deferred, that means you weren't rejected outright. Lots of people applying in the RD round won't be admittable at all. Being deferred may simply mean that you're like a lot of other people who may or may not be admitted depending on what the pool as a whole looks like.
