Freshly cut alfalfa in the air of a warm evening.
Jasmine, coffee brewing ( donāt like to drink though)
The smell of the earth after the first rain has fallen following a dry, hot summer. Takes me back to a time of no worry ā childhood.
This (strange) combo! Heard the songwriter singing it at a restaurant in Hawaii and thought he nailed it for me.
I canāt stand baby powder, too much mint, and pink bubblegum anything.
Fresh baked breads and lilacs.
I love honeysuckle - in any form - plant, cleaning product, candle, etc.
In terms of those memory scents - Coopertone also brings me back to days at the beach as a child with my brother and parents. Wonderful times.
Joining the weird smell list - I like the smell of gasoline when you are at the pump with your car. My husband warned me itās bad for you, but I just like it LOL.
I like the smell of rain or just after itās rained. I like the smell of cinnamon. I donāt like artificial scents or even strong floral scentsāthey can give me and my family bad headaches.
@Jolynne_Smyth glad Iām. Ot the only one.I used to love the smell of gasoline at the pump. Itās not the same now with the pollution controls on the pump.
Food scents-Love fresh baked bread, the smell of freshly fried tortilla chips, freshly popped popcorn and fresh cut citrus.
Outside love honeysuckle, jasmine, pretty much any flower. Love the scent of the ocean.
In candles I like tuberrose.
Hate the smell of baby powder and narcissus flowers.
Love the smell of vanilla.
I like the smell of gasoline at the pump, too. And magic markers.

Weird category:
I loved the smell of my dog even when he was probably stinky to others.
When our kids were in preschool, all the kids agreed that the purple scented marker smelled like Dimetap (an allergy med that was supposed to be grape flavored). It did too.
I love the smell of river water, fish, turtles, snails and frogs. I grew up on the Mississippi and am a river rat.
Flower and grass scents also make me happy, yet they also make me stuffed up.
Iāve always loved lilacs, my parents had some bushes and I had them in my wedding bouquet, we have a large bush but brought clippings in once and got bugs. All of my kids worked at a local garden center since 2010, I had my 19 year old bring home a jasmine plant which is by our large wrap around porch this year, itās pretty amazing, my grandparents used to winter in Florida every year and we would visit, always loved jasmine.
My mother had severe sensitivities to perfumes and smells, so I grew up with rather plain aromas. Definitely prefer unscented laundry detergent (and have always skipped the antistatic/bounce sheets). But Iām getting a lot of joy out of the smell of lavender when pruning. Also love citrus. After I peel an orange or clementine/cutie, I have to inhale the fumes from the peel.
Tomato bushes. So much stronger than tomatoes.
Also my parents had bees and the bees collected pollen from rape fields. Opening a jar of honey made from rape is a very strong smell. Not everyoneās cup of tea. But now when I drive past a field of rape it reminds me of the honey we used to have.
The smell of fresh gardenias remind me of my father; fresh roses remind me of my mother.
Like the smell of grapefruit, lemons and oranges.
I love the smell of freshly laundered sheets, dried on a clothesline in the sun. Itās not a scent related to any laundry product and it canāt be duplicated by any fabric softeners, itās just clean.
In terms of floral scents, nothing beats lilacs in the spring.
