Schedule for Senior Year

Hello! I was just wondering if you guys could help me plan out my schedule for senior year! Here's some information to start you out with : I have no idea what college i want to go or what i want to major in. I am a junior and my current classes are:
AP english 3 (lit. and comp.)
APUSH
PAP Physics
PAP PreCal
PAP Spanish 4
Varsity swimming

next year here is what i was thinking, just with some questions:

I have 7 classes to choose from:

-AP English 4 (lit. and comp.)
-AP Gov. and Politics/AP Microecomonics
-Swimming
(those 3 for sure ^^)
-For science, i was thinking ap chemistry. I know people say ap chem is tough but the only ap chem teacher at my school is great, but should i take it if i'm not interested in a scientific carreer? my second choice for science is ap bio.. what do you think?
-For math: im am trying to decide between ap stats and ap calculus. I think i would like stats more but do colleges prefer calculus? somebody told me it was required to graduate college...
-AP spanish v ( is this too hard? to colleges require a foreign language?)
-Leadership( this is an audition thing. if i dont get in i plan to take one of the extra science or math classes, same if i decide not to take spanish.)

What do you think?

Thanks for your help!

Chem is a better course to take than Bio. If the teacher is great and you were fairly good with PreAP Chem, you should take it. But, since you’re not interested in science, it doesn’t matter much. Taking Bio won’t hurt you at all and will still look good.

Calc is MUCH more highly regarded than Stats, and Calc is required for many college majors. Calc AB isn’t bad at all, BC gets pretty tough though. Stats is nearly useless, though it is a lot easier than Calc… It’s less about math and more about memorizing/knowing what to type in your calculator.

AP Spanish V is very difficult. Colleges often require 2 years of foreign language and recommend 3. Since you’re in Spanish 4, you’ve already satisfied that requirement. Unless you love Spanish and are particularly talented in it, or the teacher is great, I’d avoid this course.

thanks pancaked! spanish was a real “maybe” class and for calc, well i would prefer stats but i would rather get calc out of the way, and I am not a big science person but of the choices chem was the best one. thanks for your help!
