It's that time of year again! I'm a rising senior and course selections are due next week, so I need to make a decision fast. Keep in mind that I am applying as an engineering major. Here's my current (junior) schedule:

H English 11
H History 11
AP Calculus AB
AP Physics B
H Chemistry
H Spanish V
Free Period

These are the classes that I will absolutely take next year:

H English 12
3 Trimester Long History Electives
MV Calculus
AP Chemistry

We have a 7 period schedule, but we only have 6 classes everyday. Most students only take 6 classes, and it requires a lengthy petition process to take more. We can only take 3 AP classes per year, and, again, lengthy petition process to take more. That leaves me with a realistic opportunity to take 2 classes, and possibly a third (unlikely).

So out of AP Physics C, AP Statistics, and AP Biology, what two should I take? Here's some background information about each class.

AP Physics C: My current AP Physics B teacher will teach this course for the first time next year. He's an awesome guy, and a good teacher, and I find his current class pretty easy. I am the least interested in taking this course next year though, but I wouldn't mind taking it and heard that this class would look great on my resume.

AP Stats: I had this teacher for Pre-Cal; didn't really like her too much. She wasn't a bad teacher; I just don't like her personality frankly speaking. This would be the easiest class out of the three, and I've heard that it doesn't look as good as the other two on an application. It is also the least relevant to my major. I do 3 varsity sports, so I wouldn't be as stressed if I took this course.

AP Biology: I don't know the teacher personally, but I've heard nothing but praise for her. My worries are that I haven't taken a biology course since freshman year, and this class is definitely the hardest of the three. I'm good at brute memorization though. I'm most interested in this course.

The reason I didn't put AP Biology in the thread title was because I was heavily leaning towards it already, but I can be talked out of it.
