Schedule

In my school they are trying to change our schedule, we study from 7AM to 2:05PM, they want tooo change it to start at 8:20AM and end at 3:30.

I would like you to give your opinions, what schedule do you prefere?

i prefer 7AM to 2:05PM.... its much better. a lot of us have things to do after school and with the new schedule we wont have time to do the activities and homework too. the lady that proposed this said that we needed to start earlier because it was better for us. i think that the little kids are the ones that need more sleep to be able to learn better. we are the ones that need the extra time in the afternoon since we have extracurricular activities. overall i just think it's stupid, we dont need it.

Like all the people in our grade JUan S i obviously think that the old schedule is the best. I preffer to wake up early in the morning than stay until 4:20 and wake up late. If you play a sport or do something afterschool, you are probably going to have trouble.

I play sports and am part of many extracurriculars. Personally, I think the NEW schedule is better. I'm fairly sure I've heard EVERYONE complain about getting up too early and how tired they are. The new schedule would allow another hour of sleep or (if you didn't need that) some time before school to do homework you couldnt finish last night, study, or even some before school club meetings and etc.

I like the 0820 - 1530 one better.

Studies show that teenagers tend naturally get tired around midnight and get up around 9-10 (satisfying the recommended 9hr of sleep). Although many teens have activities, they are not always to their best interest.

Getting up earlier is only good for fully mature adults (around age 25 and up). Otherwise, getting up later means more energy and a better mood.

My school has an early and late schedule. You can choose to have 7:20-2:05 or 8:20-3:05. :P

I think that I would be so stressed if I got out at 3:30. With sports and clubs, I wouldn't get home until 6ish at the earliest. Ewww. I'd rather wake up early than stay up late (doing homework, I mean, not in general).
