Most schools start around 8'o clock, which, we all know is too early for our circadian rhythm, which leaves us less acute and focused and thus, less prepared for school.

How do you feel about pushing the time to 9, as some schools have done? I for one, am all for it.

I don’t mind waking up early; I am an early riser. I go to bed around 10, and wake up around 6 every day during the school year. Weekends I wake up at 7.

I wake up at 6 in the summer too. I like getting up early. I write for a couple of hours before tennis at 10.

Wow guys. Class starts at 8:00 and ends at 2:15 for me. Oh, and seniors are done with classes and finals already (if you weren’t exempt). It’s awesome.

My school has tutor time (stuff like role-check, notices) at 8:30, and classes start around about 8:45. Then it ends at 3:30.
I remember in elementary school (where my sister attends) it starts at 9:00 and ends at 3:00…

I start at 7:30 and we get out at 2:00. I wouldn’t mind starting at eight or something but no later. I like getting out early. If we ended later, how would I do last minute papers/projects on time?!

My school starts at 7:40. Lots of people think it’s too early, but I don’t have trouble waking up so I really don’t care too much.

If anything, I think that instead of aiming to create a schedule that will please everyone, my school should work on improving the caliber of academics and teachers instead.
