Scheduling- chem vs. bio

i m in IB and we have to take either IB Chemistry or IB Biology (both 2 yr courses). I'm taking Honors Chem now, and sort of struggled through it, but still managed to get an A (its way too much math 4 me) But, biology last yr was much interesting and easier for me. but i m gonna be pre-med in college. which one should i take?

if you enjoyed bio take that. If you enjoy it, especially if its a 2 year coures, it will overall be a better choice.

Wouldn't bio look good for pre-med anyway? (I have no clue. I have no interest in pre-med so sorry about my ignorance.)

Take Biology if you like it more. If you found Honors Chem. difficult, you're probably just going to have more trouble in IB. Plus, you most likely won't enjoy it that much and it'll just be a boring class you're struggling with.

Also I think Biology is helpful if you want to do premed, but correct me if I'm wrong.

I think you should take IB Biology because it will still look good for pre-med. However, I think you should take some sort of chemistry class at as dual enrollment or something like that because organic chemistry fishes out a lot of its students.

Chem will be a lot harder and will therefore prepare you more for college chem, which is a huge reason that so many people drop out of the pre-med track. Then again, you could always test out of a lot of bio courses and focus on the chem in college if you take the IB bio now.

I would avise the chem if you can handle it/want to handle it. Otherwise take the bio-- high school should be fun, though just know-- if you do pre-med you will eventually be taking chem.
