Today, my counselor told me I can't take one of my classes next year (AP Chem) because it's already full. So, now I have no idea what to do, but I have a couple of options. I'll be a sophomore next year, btw. The only other AP I'll be taking is APUSH.

Take advanced chem. The problem is I've already started studying chemistry (even though I'm not supposed to) so I would probably get by the first semester without trying. Super boring, kind of like biology class this year. I really want to take three science APs in high school 'cause I think it'll prepare be better for college.

Take chem over the summer (what I originally planned to do), take AP bio, AP physics (not sure which one my school offers), or AP Envi Sci during the school year. I would be taking a class with upperclassmen and I'm not sure if I feel comfortable doing that. I feel like I would come off as being pretentious, cocky, hubristic, etc.

What should I do?
