i want to major in business and im trying to follow my passion for it, so i decided to sacrifice ap english for honors accounting. my school sucks and has these scheduling problems so i cant take honors accounting and ap english together. did i do the right thing? i gave up a tougher courseload to pursue my interests. i definitely want to apply to competitive undergrad business schools but i dont think my courseload is hard enough. im entering junior year. did i do the right thing?

as a token of my appreciation for anyone who responds, provide your email and i will send you free stuff

yes, i posted this on the high school board already, but im really in a state of extreme apprehension and concern about my future. i dont want to flip burgers for the rest of my life. help would be so much appreciated.

Is there a subsequent accounting or other business course which you could take senior year? If so, you definately made the right choice. If not I would suggest taking accounting senior year and AP English junior year.

I'd take AP English. Most schools even applying as a business major will not care if you had honors accounting. The schools harder to get into will want you to take the most difficult courses you can. I think AP English trumps honors accounting. I asked my Dad who is a CPA. He laughed and said take AP english too. What kind of school offers honors accounting anyway? Are you attending a technical or vocational high school?
