Ok so I"m in a pickle. I have next years schedule kind plnned out but I need ur help.

Debate II Honors
Spanish 4 Honors
Algebra II Honors
AP Bio
English II Honors
AP World

Now heres my decision. i have one more period to take whatever class.

I want to take an AP like AP human, so I can keep up my W GPA and class rank becuase I know people who are taking 4 AP's next year.

but

On the other hand I'm really interested in the business field and want to take a class like DECA, which isn't even honors so wuld like ruin my class rank.

Okay thanks. and also cuz I like classes that have competitions. good way to sweep up nice looking awards. in the busineess field. cuz i wanna show business interest and passion. how do i do this? like obv join the clbs in school like BPA etc. but what else?

think about it you have a whole year to decide. you can always take the buisness class as an elective senior year if you have room and no more AP's to take. like my school only allows 2 AP's a year and you cant take them until your a junior. you guys are wayyyyyy ahead of us. its a pretty competitive school though.

Wait, what is your schedule like this year currently? Throwing yourself into a bunch of AP classes is going to be very difficult, just so you know.

As a freshman, no AP's are avalabl, so I'm going to have to throw myself in at some time.

The classes I"m taking this year are:
Debate I Honors
Spanish 3
Geometry Honors
Biology Honors
Phys Ed / Health (Required)
English I Honors
World Geography Honors

I'm browsing through my course book online for classes I can take.

The prerequisite is Computer Programming II. I have never taken any computer class. Is this gonna be a problem for
1) It will be extremely hard considering everyone will have taken a computer class already

and

2) I dont know if they will let me take it because I haven't taken the prerequisite class.

If you spend a whole year learning a single programming language, you oughtta know it by then and the concepts behind it.

Same way the many CCers spend 4 years taking foreign language classes and getting "As" in them and oughtta be fluent in the language by then, but probably couldn't even order a meal in the language from a restaraunt.

And soccerstar, I see that you live in Florida. Have you tried Welcome to Florida Virtual School ? It has the AP Computer Science class, the only prereq being Algebra II. And you should at least be able to get around a computer. The instructions walk you through everything.
