Scheduling Help... AP Econ, AP Physics, AP Chem, AP English?

So I'm in a bit of a pickle in terms of scheduling for next year (senior year). The classes I'm taking FOR SURE are:

Senior Seminar (full credit, required course)
AP Stats/Multivariable Calc (full credit, counts as 1 class at my school)
Orchestra (1/2 credit)

Here's where the pickle comes in to play: I want to take AP Chem, but I would be risking my sleep, my sanity, or my GPA (or all three). The class is known to be absolutely ridiculous.

My mom wants me to take AP Physics B+C (counts as 1 class as well). Our school has a bad track record with AP Physics teachers. Last year, he was a perv and got fired. He didn't get through all of the material, and the majority of the class failed the exams. This year, I've heard that the class itself is decent, but the teacher is plain out unreasonable. I have heard that our school is looking for a new physics teacher, and this teacher was seen crying the other day, which makes me think he's going to be fired. So I'm not sure how great the next teacher will be, and if I do take AP Chem, I don't know how much I'm going to want to shoot myself. I also just hate physics.

I don't want to take two sciences because I want to take AP Econ - the teacher is probably one of the hardest in our school, but he's one of those "must have before you graduate" teachers that everyone loves. And I just want to take the class.

I also don't know about AP English Lit/Comp. I'm good at writing, I suck at reading. My mom thinks I should take it because "it's an AP"...

I also want to take Constitutional Law, which is a half-credit history elective. The teacher is my APUSH teacher right now, and I love him.

I don't know what I want to do in college yet - all of my classes/activites seem to point towards a sciency route, and I most likely will study science (or econ, depending on other factors). And I just don't know what to do. Can anybody offer any insight to AP Chem, AP Physics, AP Econ, or AP English that they would like to share? Any advice? Opinions? Comments? Questions?

I am not ■■■■■■■■, but what exactly do you mean he was a “perv”…

OKay, I lied, I am ■■■■■■■■.

Get Barron’s for AP Physics C or Petersons

Princeton Review for Ap Physics B

I don’t know too much about AP English Lit/Comp,

AP Chem, get Princeton Review, know your acid/bases well.

I would definitely say that AP Physics and AP Chem are much more impressive than AP Econ. At my school, AP Chem is a suicidal course as well, but I’m taking it, just because I know it’ll look good. I hate physics also, but I’m taking AP Physics B, because I want to get it over with before college. AP Econ is seen as a reasonable easy class, and so is AP Stat, but that ALL depends upon your teacher (My AP Stats class is SO hard). If you’re trying to do something science related in college, might as well start making that your main priority in HS right? Good luck.

lemone - I’m not taking any of these classes yet; I just wanted to know what other people think about them.

Thispakistanigir - AP Stat and Multivariable Calculus are shoved into the same course; it’s not going to be easy. I realize that I should get a head start on Chem and Physics, but how much do they really help in college? Also, I really want to take Econ… I may or may not major in Econ as well.
