<p>I know people received honors program notifications today, but have heard nothing about scholars. Anyone know when we receive acceptance to the program we applied to?</p>
<p>You should always look online…I searched for “scholars notification” on the UMD.edu website and it was the 2nd thing on the results page…</p>
<p>Expect your Scholars notification letter by April 9, 2010. Your notification letter will be in the form of a welcome letter from the program that you are being offered. The Scholars notification letters represent final decisions. If you are not offered a program that is your top choice, then you will be placed on a waitlist for your top-choice program and any other program that you had listed as a higher choice. We do not make any decisions regarding these waitlists until after May 15, 2010, when we are more certain of the projected enrollments for each program. Being on a program waitlist in no way guarantees that you will get into that program.</p>
<p>The letters are not up yet, but the link to the Scholars Program is active. Patience is hard this time senior year, I know!</p>
