<p>I never received a post card that they got my application for the scholars program. I applied on time.</p>
<p>Nor have I received notification of which programs I was accepted to.</p>

<p>I'm confused... You had to apply for honors/scholars/etc? I don't think I applied for anything and was just notified via my traditional acceptance letter. I would say call and ask the admissions office directly. That's the easiest way.</p>

<p>For Scholars, you hafta 'apply' for the different programs within Scholars. 'Apply' meaning you had to fill out a survey detailing which program you would prefer and why. Not really an application, more just an interest form.</p>
<p>I haven't received anything yet either. No acknowledgement receipt. Haven't gotten my fin aid yet either, which is bringing down UMd on my list...</p>
<p>when i didnt recieve confirmation that they got my interest inventory thing, i called them and they said they got everything on time. Then when i didnt recieve notification about which scholars program i got into, i called them again and they told me.</p>

<p>i got into IS (international studies)... I wasn't seriously considering UMD, i was set on virginia tech, but now i must reconsider... b/c is includes participating in model OAS and project ICONS which would be great</p>

<p>D. got into Honors (is a frosh now) and for that program you are invited, based on your application, Stats etc. They have a list at the umd.edu site.
For Gemstone you are also invited..and its more research based. And I believe for Scholars you are invited and then select your desired program.
BTW when did you all get your aide packages?</p>
