<p>I went to Scholars day this year on January 22nd and in the orientation, they were talking about letting people know if they have been accepted into a certain program or deferred by January 25th. Surprise, it’s January 25th.</p>
<p>Anyone been accepted? And if so… which one? I applied for Health Sciences and Biological Sciences.

<p>They said we should be emailed. I don’t know if thats our normal email or our @buckeyemail.osu.edu mail. I’ve been checking everyday and still nothing :(</p>

<p>If I remember correctly they said that they would begin releasing Scholars Program admissions in the middle of March.</p>

“In order to be considered for a Scholars Program, you must complete and submit this application. Our priority consideration deadline is December 1, 2010; the final application deadline is February 1, 2011. You will be notified of our decision by March 2011, however, those who apply by the December 1 priority deadline may receive notice of admission by the end of January 2011.”</p>
<p>I knew when they were distributing their decisions. I was just wondering if people were getting them.</p>
<p>lol what… If you know that they’re sending them out March 2011, then why would you expect anyone to get notification of a decision now?</p>
<p>I have heard from several people that were there last saturday that they said they would notify people who early applied of their decision by the end of January. Well here we are and no one seems to have heard. Same thing happened with the Morrill scholarship. They said if you early applied you may hear by the beginning of December and I don’t think anyone did till the first week of January. I wish they wouldn’t say things and not follow through with them. I have little patience.</p>
<p>If anybody receives a decision on Monday - January 31st, will tOSU have followed through with what they said?</p>

<p>Perhaps I’m confused about when the end of January actually is and the difference in definition between “may” and “will”.</p>

<p>I too was at the Scholars Day last Saturday and remember hearing that decisions, accepted or deferred, will be sent out the week of January 25th for those students who applied by December 1st.</p>

<p>Oh, I guess I got it wrong then. I didn’t apply by December 1st (silly me) so I didn’t get the January 2011 decisions memo. </p>

OMG!!! OMG!!! It’s still January and the Scholars acceptances have been emailed. I am so glad that I didn’t over react before the results came out.</p>
<p>They did follow through with what they said! My daughter got both an email and a letter today. She got into Mount Leadership. My son has been deffered (no spot open for you now but we will give you a final answer in March). Anyone else?</p>
<p>I was deferred as well. I guess all I can do is hope to get in at the end of March.</p>
