<p>I just got accepted into Maryland college park and it told me that i was the "scholar" program I know its nothing like an honors program...so what type or program is it or is that just what they call regular applicants?</p>
<p>Lost-- take a look at this link from Maryland's website...it is a specialized program, and your scores/grades/app set you apart from "regular" applicants for you to be invited. There's another link here on CC where people talk about their acceptances and there are some good descriptions between the differences of honors/Gemstones/Scholars. </p>
