<p>Right, but the question is whether or not it will help with scholarships. Pitt doesn’t require essays or teacher recommendations either, yet I don’t think someone could get a scholarship without sending in some supplemental material.</p>
<p>For what it’s worth, my daughter received a full-tuition OOS scholarship from the UHC and a $4000/yr engineering scholarship. She submitted an essay and teacher rec with her application, did not submit any SAT II scores, and applied very, very early (in August). I believe that applying early is incredibly important.</p>

<p>Wait…she never sent in <em>any</em> SAT scores? Not even the SAT I? Isn’t that required, at least?</p>
