scholarship for college student whose admission was deferred to next semester?

I was originally going to attend the college this semester but I have had to come back to home because of the unexpected problem.

I wish to have some money before I go back to college so that I won't struggle much...are students whose admissions are deferred to next semester eligible for most college scholarships>?

I believe your school will still have a similar aid package available, however you should contact the university just to make sure. The money you will make this semester isn’t going to be reported on your FAFSA until the 2015-2016 school year anyway.

No way to know…did you take a leave of absence? Contact your college for the answer to this question about your aid.

Oh I meant external scholarships, I apologize for the confusion.

I got the full tuition scholarship that’s been deferred to next semester. I was asking

if the external scholarships for college students also work for students whose admission got deferred.

Paul…most/all of the 3rd party scholarships for this current school year were awarded last spring/summer. I doubt that there are any available.

The ones for THIS current school year had application deadlines that have already long past.

Plus, you are an int’l. You may not be eligible for many/most external scholarships.

^In fact I am applying for Dr Pepper tuition giveaway and I didn’t see any citizenship requirement last time I applied.
Also Dr Pepper is doing another round right now(I have 46 votes so far)

paul…the Dr. Pepper rules say that you must be a legal resident of an eligible US state.
