I want to know out there from all international graduate students how they have managed funding grad school in US.

To all members and moderators: If you know universities in US that give full funding for international GRAD students would be great. I know private ivies are need blind but they are so competitive. Are there other private/public universities that offers full fellowships/assistantships/scholarships...for international GRAD students.

My area of interest : MPH, IR, MPP, MPA, MSN

Thank you in advance. Yes any information would be helpful.

PS: I have posted the same in GRAD forum so i get information from both GRAD school and international students here.

you dont have to emphasize "international student" so much for grad school.. it's kind of the same for everybody.. most phds get funded (through assistantships/fellowships) and most masters programs dont. professionals schools (med school, law school) dont give out funding.
the main thing is to get admitted, because you are competing with a lot of students from everywhere.
some schools have limited funding for masters (but that usually covers very little), have you considered a phd? or maybe a masters in europe?

As far as I know, most european countries have many graduate scholarships for international students. Usually it is funded by each country's government. However, in most cases, you need to be able to speak the country's language before you got accepted or at least willing to learn the language usually for about an extra year.

Have you check out the Fulbright scholarships? It is intended to bring citizens of other countries to the United States for Master’s degree or Ph.D. study at U.S. universities or other appropriate institutions.
