My family just split up and arranging the finances for my education are harder than ever. My dad promised me that he will send me to a great university no matter what he has to do. I just got a place at Brown but I feel guilty going knowing my father will suffer in India to make me study.
Could anyone please advice me on a few scholarships that I could apply for to relive my father of the burden.
I am an Indian and I am in desperate need to arrange at least 11 to 15 thousand dollars of my education.

fastweb.com? not sure. Good luck. talk to the FA office?

thanx…any more suggestions?

Some private foundations (charities in the US founded by one family/benefactor) have semi-informal scholarship programs – I don’t remember exactly to what extent they’re allowed to give grants to non-US citizens, but it’s worth a look. I’d target ones with an Indian benefactor.
