I really want to go but I screwed up my financial aid. I couldn’t complete the requirements due to my father’s refusal to fill out the non-custodial parent form. Yes, I know I probably should’ve have given Brown a call, but I’m stupid and it was well past the deadline when my dad told me he wouldn’t do it. In the end, I’m probably going to end up going to the University of Washington since I basically have a full ride there. Although, I could probably defer my acceptance, reapply for financial aid and try to get my dad to fill out the damn paperwork. Ugh, I don’t know what to do. If anyone has any opinions, I would very much love to hear them. Thanks!

Call Brown, explain the situation. Stuff isn’t due for returning students until May 3rd, so they might be able to get your FA done in time if you apply within a week or so. You’ll never know unless you call. I know they were able to re-consider my application and give me a new aid award within a week last year.
