Has anyone received scholarship information yet?

We haven’t yet and it’s the only school that my son’s been accepted to that hasn’t given him anything yet. I hope they do it soon so we can start to figure out what makes sense for him. U. Vermont is his first choice right now so just my luck that they won’t give him any!

check your portal under “scholarships” and you may see a letter.

I didn’t think I was getting any scholarship info until the spring but yesterday I got a letter saying I received the Presidential Scholarship. They’re offering 14k a year which I am shocked at considering I’m not that too high above their average stats (I have a 91 w, 2070 superscore). Still hopeful that I have a chance at getting into the honors college, as far as I know they haven’t sent out those acceptances yet. Good luck to everyone else.

My daughter was also selected for the presidential scholarship at $16k a year. We did not get anything in the mail yet, it just appeared on her portal page.

Thanks everyone! I just checked my portal. $14,000 a year (:

Congratulations Writerjordan

Yep! I got 9K a year, which is cool because it brings the cost down to something similar to other schools on my list.

My son got notice over the weekend that he too received a Presidential Scholarship. I can’t recall the amount, but it was around $15k.

My son just got a letter that he was awarded the Trustees Scholarship at 12,000 a year. Looks like he’ll be going to UVM!

Congrats!! @randomkid23 @mdmom4boys @guyk27 @snowboy473 @writerjordan @dad0524

My daughter’s letter arrived yesterday. She was awarded a Trustee Scholarship at $5000/yr. Unfortunately, that won’t even put her in the realm of being able to attend as an out of state student. We’ll see what happens after submitting FAFSA information, but UVM attendance is looking unlikely.

Does anyone know when UVM’s honors college acceptances come out and what the grades of students accepted into it tend to be?

@Anywhere11 I’m an out of state student as well. This school is definitely too expensive for me, but I’m glad I gave it a try.
I just received a Trustee’s Scholoarship of $12,000 a year! It’s exciting because that (combined with some other aid) brings UVM into the range of my other schools! I had honestly forgotten about the automatic consideration and with a mediocre GPA (3.44 weighted) scholarships hadn’t even seemed in the realm of possibility so I was ecstatic when I read the letter
No idea when honors college stuff comes out but I know the average SAT is around a 2100 or so.
Just got my scholarship info in the mail (presidential, $16k per year). I applied VIP around January 5th, found out I was accepted January 14th.
The 75th percentile SAT score at UVM is 1930 so I think you’ve overestimated the average score just abit.
evk4444 was quoting the average score for admission to the Honors College. If you look at the UVM website, the following information is provided:
First-year students are selected based on the strength of their application to the university. Most students invited into the Honors College will have graduated in the top 5-7% of their high school class, will have taken the most rigorous courses available to them, and will have SAT scores of about 2100 and ACT score in the 31+ range.
This seems pretty accurate from my daughter’s stats and those of her friends in the Honors College.
Does anyone know where I would find the scholarship section in the portal?
