scholarship issue

I am an international student currently studying in community college in my second year. I am planning to transfer to UT, Austin for psychology major. My GPA is 3.51.however, i am not any strong extra curricullar achievements. what is the chance of my getting reasonable scholarships? If any, how much will it be?please let me know.

Unforunately, UT does not have transfer scholarships for international students. Your best option is to find a private funded scholarship through your community college. I’d recommend boosting your GPA up a bit because it is really challanging for international students to even get accepted. I am not trying to sound negative, I am just giving you an advice. I am an international student and was once in your shoes.

Check to see any financial aid available for international students at UT. Another solution is if you’ve been residing in Texas for the past 36 months prior to obtaining a GED, then you can qualify for in-state tuition rate. This is the route I took, and it worked out!
