On the Trinity website, it says that the academic requirements for the Murchison scholarship are “3.85 GPA and 1530 SAT score”. Is it possible for me to be considered for this scholarship if I have a 3.81 GPA (recalculated according to Trinity standards) and a 1540 SAT score ? Or am I automatically disqualified from consideration for this particular scholarship because I didn’t meet the GPA cutoff.

Additionally, for the TTDS, it states that “Murchison scholars as well as other exceptional individuals” are invited to compete. What does the “other exceptional individuals” part mean?

I would call admissions. They are very transparent about scholarships, so I see no reason why they would not be able to answer your question directly. Good luck to you.
