<p>I was wondering if it's ok to ask the same teachers who wrote ur college recs for scholarship rec? can I tell them they can just use the same one or not? Also can I use the same rec for multiple ones</p>
<p>It probably depends somewhat on the nature of the scholarship, and what kind of attributes the organization is looking for. Sometimes other people can speak to those better than teachers. But if it is a general scholarship, your teachers might be able to use the same letter of rec or adapt one easily (if they kept a copy).</p>
<p>I’ve written letters for the same person for several scholarships and just tweaked the same basic letter a tad to address a specific scholarship. For example, one committee asked for comments on the student’s strengths and weaknesses, which I certainly did not address in the other letters.</p>
