Can I still get scholarships with C's on my transcript?
My gpa is a 3.55 on a 4.0 scale beg of 12th grade. The only C's that I have in are in Pre-cal Pre-Ap, and the first semester of English IV DC but this semester, I dropped to AP and I'm getting an A.
SATs: I got a 1860 the first time and I'm taking it again in October and hoping for a 2000 or higher.
I'm HOSA and Math Honor Society President next r. I'm a member of NHS,SNHS, Interact (Rotary Club), and will be a member of Future Business Leaders of America.
I will be working at Kumon this summer and the next year.
I teach at my Sunday School.
I volunteered at a hospital last summer and will volunteer again this summer.
I volunteer with a group where we help package food for homeless people.
I can't think of anything else......

You need to check the scholarship requirements for the colleges you plan to apply to. If you look at the thread above…automatic full tuition and full ride scholarships, you may find something for which you are eligible.

Bama only requires a 3.5 gpa, but your M+CR or ACT needs to be certain levels to get substantial merit scholarships.

try to get at least a 1330 M+CR or 30 ACT…

how much merit do you need? how much will your parents pay?

I’m hoping for a full ride to University of Houston
