I am an out of state applicant who applied to early decision. I got accepted to the electrical engineering major and have accepted the offer of admission. The only problem now is, I have only been given a $1,000 scholarship and offered $30,000 in unsubsidized loans. At this point the school is way too expensive for me to attend. Does anyone know if more scholarships will be awarded? If so, how much could I expect?

I’m pretty sure they are done awarding once your financial package is up on your portal…
You can call admissions and see if they keep awarding though

I am in the same boat as BlueAlien

Only got 2,000 dollars and a bunch of loans

I really hope that there are more scholarships given

I emailed admissions and they told me not to count on receiving any scholarships.

Did you look into the Federal Pell Grant Program; [Federal Pell Grant Program](Federal Pell Grant Program) ? I believe it got a boost with the passage of the Health Care Bill.

I doubt I would qualify for that. My family makes just above the income you need to be below to qualify for any need based scholarships and grants.
