Scholarships for People With...

...a really high weighted GPA?

My predicted weighted GPA at the end of the semester is at least a 7.0 (I'm a senior), and that determines our class rank.

I was just wondering if there were scholarships for people that had more than a 5.0 weighted GPA or something?

The unweighted GPA is on a 4.0 scale, and mine is 3.9.

EDIT: Just for clarification, only honors / AP / Dual enrollment classes add to the weighted GPA.

I’m not sure it would make sense. Most schools with weighting don’t go beyond a possible 5.0.

Just looking at the number doesn’t mean it’s necessarily high. What’s your scale out of? What’s its equivalent. I’m sure the convert it to a standard scale. Such as out of 5 or 4.

I go to a public school in Florida with a class size of more than 600 O:

I’m currently ranked 2nd, but trying to get to 1st.

It’s actually possible here, Dual enrollment adds .16 to your weighted GPA each semester, while AP adds .08 per semester and honors .04 per semester.

Unweighted is out of 4.0, and weighted can be as high as many honors/de/ap classes you take.
However, you can only take 3 de classes per semester here.

A lot of in-state public schools usually have a couple full-ride scholarships to those with superb grades.
