Scholarships for UNdocumented

Fell free to upload scholarships for undocumented students- be respectful

Thank You

What do you mean “undocumented”?
If they are undocumented, how would they apply to a college or scholarship? There would be many shenanigans afoot if that was possible.

However, Fastweb, Capex and CC’s Scholarship Forum all have info on that, just none that I can reference right now.

I mean undocumented immigrants residing on the U.S. without proper documentation proving a legal status.

There might be with one’s local ethnic group.

However, there are very few because most scholarships want to stay as far away from trouble as possible

If you live in Washington state, I know of numerous scholarships for undocumented students.

^Such as?

I know in Utah, they encourage undocumented students to work hard.

Also, I heard there was a bill in the works that would provide papers to those who worked hard and made it to a 4-year, accredited college

I think URochester has a few full rides for undocumented students, going on what an undocumented friend of mine told me.

But he now goes to Dartmouth, so you’re probably better off at a full-need school, if you’re low income.

Also, undocumented students would likely get full financial aid by all the top-15’s, which EliKresses, a CC legend, referenced.

Int’l students are chumps for standing in line to apply for a visa

Int’l students are also unlikely to get accepted.

For Int’l students, colleges are allowed to admit or deny based on their ability to pay for the school.

there’s the City of Destiny Scholarship (for WA students), Dream without Boundaries Scholarship (for students who attend school in the Vancouver district in WA), the Realize the Dream scholarship (WA), the Que Llueva Cafe Scholarship, the Cruzando Fronteras/Ayudando ala Comunidad Scholarship, and the Fondo Futuro American Dream Scholarship.

those are the ones I can think of off the top of my head

Are they only for people of a certain ethnicity?

Apparently, Albanians and Balkans are a significant portion of undocumented residents

No, they aren’t, as far as I am aware
They’re just founded by people and organizations with names that suggest a certain ethnicity

Me, a CC legend?
Surely you jest…;P

^When I was a CC baby, I always saw you posting and racking up the ‘prestige’ [no, not those weird green bars]

Ahh, I see.

I used to post a lot, then I got a life…
But now I’m back to posting a lot.

Anyway, I shall not continue on this tangent, I’d hate to derail the OP’s discussion.

^As have I

Also, isn’t it the point of all CC threads to derail the discussion for personal benefit?

Nonetheless, I found out that my local high school has scholarships for undocumented students and many private college consultants are willing to work pro bono for those who are undocumented residents

A trouble making ■■■■■! Turn on your nightlight and go to bed.
