How did people make out with out of state scholarships? Mason seems to have given enough to make out of state tuition match in state tuition, which is nice, but still hoping to get some of the other scholarship money from the ones listed on the web site.

Hi, I applied to GMU honors recently but I wanted to know what your gpa and sat scores were? I want to compare them to my scores to see if I can also get into the honors program.

i just recieved my letter. I am out of state with a weighted gpa 4.2, sat totals with writing around 1900

@disnurse

When’d you apply? Also, what’s your SAT without writing?

oh okay thanks

I applied by nov 1th or there abouts. My sat 650 and 590 about. Very highly ranked high school in a small state, top 10% of a fairly large class

Do you get a letter even if you don’t make it into the honors college?

Is worried, as she hasn’t heard anything back yet

Last Friday son received full-tuition University Scholarship ($102K) over 4 years plus $1K stipend towards honors’ college housing. We are from midwest.

That is really blessed! Congratulations!

Congrats Rockchalk that is wonderful.

Where does Mason fall on your son’s list?

I got a full tuition scholarship too two weeks ago. I’m in-state. I think the Lounge part sounds really cool :)

Congrats to Rockchalk!

I was accepted into honors with a 4.2 gpa and a 1230 on the sats 1820 with writing. I applied RD in November and I heard back from them with the EA people. No scholarship though.

He wants to be in DC area, but Northeastern is looking good, too.
