What kind of scholarships does Dartmouth offer?
I'm working on becoming a Medical Oncologist, and I really don't think that I would be able to pay for Dartmouth on my own. Even so, I know I could take out a student loan, but I don't want to have to worry about paying it off. I hear there's supposed to be a scholarship for Native Americans... or at least for Cherokee Indians. If there is, I'm curious about whether it's a part scholarship or a full one. I'm enlisted in the Eastern tribe, and I, in fact, do have an enrollment number.

You need to look at Dartmouth’s Fin Aid website. They do not offer merit scholarshps. However D has some special allotments for Natives.

Follow the moderator’s link (#3) for still more links.

Click on the Financial Aid Sources link.

Also note Dartmouth’s own very generous financial aid standard:

Financial concerns should not be a reason not to apply. Trust me. The school made it possible for us. Not easy, but possible.

Do they offer full scholarships?

Dartmouth does not give full scholarships. What Dartmouth does do is that the school meets 100% of your demonstrated need. If you are a low income, high need student, Dartmouth will give you a financial aid package that covers your demonstrated need. However, keep in mind that there is a student contribution from work in your financial aid package. If you don’t get the summer contribution, Dartmouth is not going to make up this money.

I have one other question. Does Dartmouth offer medical scholarships?
