Scholastic v. Non-Scholastic

Simple question:

For the application, does scholastic activities mean related to school or related to academics?
Would non-scholastic then mean non-academic or not related to the school? For example sports. Would that be non-scholastic because its non-acedemic, but its still related to school?

Just a little confused on the word specifics.

Thanks
