I just received my decision from Northeastern; I was accepted as a nursing transfer student, with a small scholarship. Unfortunately, my CSS profile seems to be missing in action.
I forwarded the profile on March 15, and the Profile website says that it was forwarded to Northeastern on March 17. It will not let me forward the Profile again, but Northeastern’s admissions portal states that they did not have it.
I have already e-mailed my financial aid counselor, and I am calling Northeastern’s financial aid office tomorrow during business hours, but I was wondering if anyone had any experience with something like this. Could there possibly still be money for me? I love Northeastern, but I cannot afford the 53,000 sticker price.

I hope you get this resolved this year. Are you the same student who applied there last year, but never submitted the financial aid applications, and went to UMass?
Yes, we didn’t make that mistake! All of my other schools have received my financial aid info, but Northeastern says that they did not. The Profile says that the information was sent out on 3/17, so I’m thinking maybe it was misplaced. I’m calling tomorrow morning to hopefully get it resolved
I just got an email back from my financial aid counselor-they have my profile, apologized for the mistake, and promised me they’d have a package for me in a few days! Hopefully it works out!
Well, as a transfer, when would you need to make a decision?
Just don’t withdraw from your current school until you know the finances will work out elsewhere.
June 1st. Also still waiting to hear back from a few other schools
