Are colleges aware of class limitations? For example, neither the school I attended my freshman year nor the school I attended my sophomore years even had honors/AP classes (I know, sad). And, my high school currently (a public one) didn't want to put me in honors courses because of my lack of experience in them (I believe). Not to mention, you can really only take AP courses your senior year (unless you take bio AP or Cal AP). I'm definitely capable of honors courses (my English teacher said I'm more capable than most). So how do I explain this to a college? I mean, I have no intention of getting into an Ivy, just a small private school. Help? Thank you very much.

Yes they are aware of what AP/honors are offered at your school. When your GC sends in their rec/transcripts, a "school profile" is attached. This gives numbers of AP's, honors, class size, avg scores, etc.

Thanks a lot. So, it'll have it for all 3 of my high schools? Great, will they also understand that at the time of my sophomore year, my school was unable to provide meAlgebra II, so I didn't take a math class? My SAT and other math grades will show that I'm strong in math, solet's just hope for the best.
