<p>What programs do you guys use? Dreamweaver? Joomla? Drupal? Pure coding?</p>
<p>Just wondering, as we're going to be starting a website this year.</p>
<p>Learn HTML. It's not that hard. If you're really going in-depth like a real news site then learn PHP.</p>
<p>TextEdit.</p>
<p>(My school newspaper doesn't have a website, but I've designed some in the past. Writing my own code makes me feel hardcore. :D)</p>
<p>A CMS like Joomla or Drupal will make it easier for multiple people to post or revise content. Joomla is probably easier to get going with than Drupal. With different roles and permissions, each reporter could post stories, an editor could approve them, etc.</p>
<p>For single-author sites that don't change much, a WYSIWYG HTML editor like Dreamweaver is fine.</p>
<p>Dreamweaver because its easy and I'm lazy.</p>
