School Report

I was a little curious on how the school report worked. I went to a private school for freshman and sophomore year and then transferred to a large public school for junior and senior year. On the Harvard app it says if you have gone to more than one school in the last two years you need two school reports. Do i need it?

Yes, you need it. It's the only way that colleges can evaluate your high school curriculum from both schools.

Should I just have the other school include it with the common app even if its not required by all schools? Will it help or hurt me? The reason is the other school has a different gpa scale where A- = 3.67 so my gpa would go down because my new school has A-,A,A+ = 4.0.

You don't "include it" with the common app. Your prior high school sends it along with your official transcript to all the schools you apply to.

The School Report is the document that explains the grading system, as well as what courses are available. The transcript with the School Report can only help you by putting your schedule and grades into context.
