School suggestions?

I'm about to be a senior, but have no idea what school I want to go to or what I want to study, etc...but I want to get a list of colleges to think about applying to.
I'm a white/hispanic girl at a competitive USNWR top 50 public high school in CA and have a 3.3ish GPA UW, 3.6ish W (upward trend, but a bit up and down). (UC GPA: 3.9ish) I have a 2240 SAT (might retake it if it would be helpful). Still have to take subject tests.

I volunteer at an animal shelter, animal hospital, and babysit. I participate in the Gay Straight Alliance at my school.

I'm mostly looking at small liberal arts schools. I'd prefer to be in/close to a large city, and it would be great if I could stay on the west coast, but I'd also be willing to go to the northeast. I'd like to go to a completely secular school, I'd like a liberal student population, and I'm a strict vegan so I'd like to go to a school with plenty of vegan food options (and that's one of the reasons why I'd prefer to be in a city).

I'm not really sure how to figure out safety/match/reach schools because I have a meh GPA and a high SAT..help? :) My parents have run some financial calculators and it shouldn't be too much of an issue, as long as the school meets a reasonable amount of financial need.

So far I've got my local CSU and UC Santa Cruz as safeties(ish). I have Lewis and Clark as a match (I think?) Any help finding more matches and some (reasonable) reaches? Thanks :)

liberal art school, so you want to do an art major?

if so, your grades/gpa are more than enough for MICA because I have a friend who is attending that school this fall, with way lower stats.

No, liberal arts just means it focuses on undergrads, has small classes, etc. [Liberal arts college - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia](Liberal arts college - Wikipedia)
I’m thinking about majoring in gender/LGBT studies or another social science.

*One more thing, not interested in sports at all haha

If you would look at the Midwest we have a few that you might like. Knox and Beloit come to mind.

I can’t really apply to schools in the Midwest, because my parents say I have to go somewhere they’d like to visit… They’re pretty set against the Midwest :(

I’m not feeling the love here… :)

Lewis and Clark is probably a good choice. Maybe Willamette (though Salem is not nearly as happening as Portland). Check out Reed, though it’s a reach. They certainly will take students with lower grades if their personality shines in their essays.

Occidental perhaps?

Haha I’d be ok with going to a school in the Midwest, but seeing as it’s hard to get to, not somewhere my parents want to travel to, and generally not very vegan friendly, I don’t know if it’d work out very well
I like the suggestion of Reed; I visited both there and Lewis and Clark when I was in Portland recently and really loved it. I know it’s really rigorous and a big reach though…I looked at Willamette, but it didn’t really stand out to me.

I looked at Occidental, but the thing that put me off a bit was the location…maybe I’m just being way too picky though. I’m from Northern CA and I’ve never liked the LA area, mostly due to the hot weather, pollution, etc. (plus my parents would be kind of grumpy visiting haha). But I’m looking further into it still :)

Any more suggestions? :)

Most of the schools in Boston?
