What schools would you recommend for a BS in Biology (and possibly minoring/double majoring in Statistics)?

I live in central Kentucky and am looking at the University of Kentucky and others. Do you have any suggestions on colleges in these areas? I wouldn't mind going out of state, but it would have to be fairly close to KY or in southern Alabama (I have family in Mobile) so that I would be able to drive to visit relatives (i.e., going to college in California probably wouldn't work for me)

Also, it really doesn't matter what size the college is or if it is rural or urban.

My ACT composite is a 30 (Taken b/t by Sophomore and Junior year). My weight GPA has continously been a 4.0. I take the highest level classes possible.

There are so many schools that are good in biology it's not even funny. But the biology departments of the best can be quite different, as can be the atmosphere

celebrian25, I read some stuff on another thread about the atmosphere at Miami University. I come from a rural area (my high school, the only one in the county, has just under 1000 students) and middle class family (mom is a teacher, dad works in a factory). I am somewhat conservative (mainly religious, I really don't care a bit about politics) but am openminded. Would I have a chance at enjoying Miami? I know it is one of the better schools for Biology/other science, but I probably couldn't stomach the school if it is overly clichish (i.e. wealthy kids or preps thinking they rule the world). Thanks.

Miami is the definition of overly cliqueish (how do you spell that)... it is mostly conservative, close-minded wealthy kids. But I must admit that they do know how to party.
