Schools for physics?

I will be a freshman Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology in the fall. When I applied, I wanted to go into chemical engineering, after taking several more physics courses I decided I might rather go into physics. My freshman year at Rose I will double major in both subjects so that I can decide. I was considering transferring if I do decide on physics. Which one of these schools would be the best for undergraduate physics. I was accepted to all three of these schools and I am almost positive that can be accepted to transfer.

UIUC
RHIT
Cornell U

Thank you very much.

You will soon be able to judge RHIT much better than me, but both UIUC and Cornell are excellent for undergraduate physics and successfully place many of their students in top PhD programs.

I think RHIT is going to be a very good school for Physics. I doubt any other schools are better enough, at the undergrad level, to be worth transferring out of a great school. Although UIUC and Cornell both have engineering programs as well as physics programs, you chose RHIT for a reason. I doubt if that reason becomes void with the change in major from Chem E to Physics. Have fun with your freshman year!
