Schools most accepting of diversity?

This may be kind of a weird question, but I wanted to know some of the top schools that are really and truly diverse or are very accepting of minority students. I know that a lot of top schools are going to have mostly Caucasians and I don't mind that, but I want to be at a school where my race really won't play a factor in my social life. I go to Cornell now and it really isn't as diverse as the statistics may show. The people are mostly white or Asian and most of the international students are Indian. There is a very small black and Hispanic population and social groups are a little segregated, especially with housing for minority students being separate from the other dorms. I'm not having a completely horrible time here and I don't feel like an outcast or anything because of my race, but it is a little different from what I expected. So, I just wanted some suggestions of top schools that have a more accepting environment of minority students.
Thank You

especially with housing for minority students being separate from the other dorms.

??

The dorms for minority students are separate? That doesn’t sound right. Are you sure?

Are you thinking of transferring?

I go to Cornell now so yes, I am positive that the dorms for minorities (like Ujamma-for African Americans, LLC-hispanics, and ILC-international) are all in like one community with a few other low rises nearby but the other regular dorms like CKB, Donlon, Mews, etc. are in a separate general area. I’m not exactly thinking of transferring because like I said, I’m not like in hell right now, hating the school. I just want to know what other schools are out there that may have a better environment but are still highly thought of academically or are still academically challenging like Cornell.

In some schools, there are cultural theme parts of dorms, but they (1) are small, (2) do not require being a member of the ethnic group to live there (although most of the interested students are of that ethnic group, (3) do not house the majority of students of that ethnic group at the school.

However, (3) might not be obvious if the students of the ethnic group are not that numerous and are generally dispersed, other than in the cultural theme part of the dorm.

I think U Miami is diverse. Rice is also very diverse, more similar to Cornell academically.
