Schools not on big list

I felt the same way when I looked at the Syracuse info. Now to be fair- they did include pictures of snow too- beautiful fluffy mounds with a brilliant blue sky and clear pathways… Something tells me that grey skies and foot deep slush would have been more common…

Since they would have similar upstate NY weather - Am I recalling correctly that Ithaca had a tunnel so you didn’t have to go outside between several of the main buildings?

I was just on the UMich campus today… It was a beautiful day in Ann Arbor!

Yup, Ithaca has a nifty tunnel/enclosed arcade that runs between the theatre arts
building and the student center on the opposite side of campus.

I grew up in MI went South for college and stayed. My blood has thinned and I am positive I couldn’t endure another winter of lake effect snow. Alas, my child feels the same, which should be helpful narrowing down where to apply next year. I enjoyed 70 degrees with fall color today ;).

@brightstaral Surprisingly enough, yesterday in Western WI, we also had 70 degrees with fall colour!

Same in northern New England!

In Michigan we’ve had two back to back 75 degree days?!? Crazy November weather.

This whole week has been upper 70s in Ohio. It’s fabulous! I wish it’d stay like this until summer (and that summer came early), except for a few days of snow at Christmas. Speaking of Christmas, it’s been so nice, we hung up Christmas lights outside! Why not; better to hang them now than in the cold that’s coming, and we won’t light them until after Thanksgiving, anyway.
