Hey guys, my sister went to SMU and absolutely loved it, and I love alot of aspects of it, but I'm looking for something a little different.

I like the fact that it has a beautiful campus, beautiful woman, strong greek, and good night life.

I don't like how everyone is extremely conservative, and I really am not to found of Texas. (No hard feelings for you texans on here!)

So what would you guys recommend that would have all the aspects I'm looking for!

Thanks Alot

Look at UNorth Carolina, UVirginia, Penn State to name a few that match what you are looking for

Vanderbilt fits exactly what you need.

Also, just a note: UVA is extremelyyyy preppy, and UNC-Chapel Hill's preppy to a lesser extent.

I only have like a 3.3 uw (4.1 weighted) and around a 1350 SAT...

UVA and Vanderbilt seem like pretty hard reaches

I was thinking something more along the lines of SMU on selectivity

WEll as a texan, I think there are two many people here already so this works for both of us :)

Tulane
U of South
Ole Miss
Davidson

Yeah thats a good list.

Also it doesn't have to be in the south or super southern..

Colgate, College of Charleston, and University of Denver come to mind...

Would you say all of those fit the criteria?

Oh and I really really want a town/city with alot to do at night. (restaurants, bars, live music, and cool shopping scene)

Portland has A LOT of adult stores if you're into that kind of shopping

adult stores?

are you guys seriously giving me a hard time because I'm looking for something different than the majority of people on this website.

my idea of happiness is different then most of yours (harvard)..
